New Year in Kattappana

It was my dream for a long time to for an overnight camp on top of a mountain in Kattappana. God blessed me to spend the night on 31st Dec 2011 and few hours of the first day of 2012 to be spent in a tent pitched on Kunthalampara Mountain and pray and meditate. It was raining because of the cyclone in Tamil Nadu coast. But God took away the rain and blessed me to have a pleasant stay. Georachan & Nishad helped me a lot! I am so grateful to them.

Kevin's visit to Kattappana

Every one in our family had a great time with Kevin this Christmas season. It was a dream come true for all of us to rebuild relationships after a gap of 17years! We are at awe of what God has accomplished.

Sad news

We are deeply distressed to hear that Mollychechy left us be with God on 12th Dec 2011! We never expected that she will go so soon! On Nov 21st we were so overwhelmed  with joy to hear Kevin visiting Mollychechy. We were looking forward to have great times together with Kevin & Mollychechy with all of us. Also we were hoping that this reunion will help her to feel better and will help her to recover.  But  God had different plans!

Miracle

We are overwhelmed with joy to tell you that another amazing miracle happened in our family! As we were all praying for Kevin to be restored to Mollychechy and to our family, it happened today!


Yesterday morning we got a call from Binu (Devasiachan's brother's son). I am speaking to him after 20 years!
He told us that Kevin has decided to go and see Mollychechy and to take care of her!  We could only praise God hearing this!


Today few of them went together and met Mollychechy and Kevin and her had a very emotional reunion. 
I spoke to Kevin while he was still with Mollychechy and he was willing to talk to me and called me uncle!


He was still emotional - these are the words he spoke 'After 17 years I saw her!'


I asked him to come to Kattappana and see all of us and he agreed. 


It is amazing to see how God broke all the barriers and re united him with all of us! I am sure Molly chechy is thrilled.


He left her today promising to come and see her again after his exams by the end of this month itself.

Adeliene joins school

Adeliene joined play school from last week. First day she cried and came back but next day she enjoyed so much that she didn't want to come back....

Kerala Trip -May 2011

We had a fantastic time in Kerala visiting families and having fun! We enjoyed amazing hospitality of all and returned with extra weight!! Adeliene is staying back in Ayarkunnam with Chacha & Ammachy.

Prize for Abhishek

It was wonderful to witness Abhishek getting 2nd Prize in 'Explore the Exibits' Competition conducted by the Vishveshariah Science Museum, Bangalore. 63 from 12 Schools participated. We are really proud of his achievement. Glory goes to God.

 

Elephant Ride

Abhishek, Beena & I had the first elephant ride in life in National Park on 26th Jan with a family who visited us from US.

Adeliene's 2nd Birthday

Adeliene's 2nd Birthday was celebrated today as Chacha & Ammachy were leaving to Kerala today.  

She talks a lot and enjoys going out to the park and seeing flowers.....

Flower Girl

Abigail was so excited to be the flower girl for Kevin & Swetha's wedding on Oct 23rd.

Visiting Thankachan Chettan

While we were in Kottayam, we visited Thankachan Chettan and family and had a great time and lovely lunch there. He took us to Perunthenaruvi waterfalls. Also he provided us with medicinal leaves for treating skin diseases.

Chacha's 75th Birthday

It was wonderful to celebrate Chacha's (Beena's Father) 75th birthday in Ayarkunnam. Many of our family members and many of Chacha's friends from the Church came over from many places to wish him. We are

Unnipriya's Birthday

Unnipriya's Birthday was celebrated on 3rd Oct 2010. We wish her wonderful year ahead.

Beena & I had a great time in Ooty. Last time we went to Ooty was 15 years back, soon after our marriage. We had the 15th anniversary there. We enjoyed having some rest and bonding time together.
