New addition to the family

We are extremely grateful to God for working wonders in providing us a wonderful baby girl. She was born on 4th Jan '09 at 7:05pm. It was a normal delivery that Beena had after 11 years of gap. Annmariya was there next to Beena with me throughout the labour except the last and final 5 minutes! Baby was in hospital anothe 8 days as she had less weight and struggle to feed, prolonged jaundice etc. Thank you all for your prayers and support. Because of this we couldn't attend Unnipriya's engagament. I hope to attend the wedding. Here are a few snaps of the baby.

Unnipriya's visit

It was great to have Unnipriya to be with us for couple of days. We wish her very best for her engagement and marriage that follows.

Happy New Year

We had a great beginning for the New Year with a wonderful all night prayer. As Beena is in the last stage of pregnancy, she couldn't attend it. Annmariya stayed with Beena to give support. Abhishek and I enjoyed the prayer and celebration. We also witnessed 2 men turning to Jesus in the early hours of Jan 1st.

Christmas

While all our families had wonderful Christmas lunch in Achachan's house in Kattappana, we had Christmas lunch and had some fun playing games and watching Jesus movie.

Annmariya joined us with her room mates. Some of our neighbours and few friends from the Church joined us.

Christmas Carnival

21st Dec was the Christmas Carnival - an event to raise funds for missions. Our family also enjoyed participating and also making and selling sandwiches, tea & coffee.

Blessing for Abhishek

On 13th Dec, Abhishek and Abigail had their School Annual Day celebration.

Abigail was in the welcome dance and she did very well.
Abhishek was in the Drama. Also he was blessed to be the BEST STUDENT IN SCIENCE IN JUNIOR SECTION. He got a rolling trophy for that!

Trip to Kattappana

We had been praying for many years to take our colleagues, staff from Bangalore Church to Kattappana to visit our family and places. Finally God answered our prayers and in the first week of Dec. 10 of us could go to Kattappana and had a wonderful retreat. Georachen & family worked so hard arranging the house and preparing wonderful food for all of us. Chechy made delicious payasam, Amminichechy and Ennammachechy made delicious Rabbit fry. We had wonderful prayer times and lessons and devotionals on the mountains and in Anchuruli. All who came with us were so appreciative of the service of all our family members. They were also amazed about the beauty of the wonderful places God created in and around Kattappana.
