Beena & I had a great time in Ooty. Last time we went to Ooty was 15 years back, soon after our marriage. We had the 15th anniversary there. We enjoyed having some rest and bonding time together.

Wedding

Christin & Jino got married on May 15th. We wish them a wonderful married life.

Birthdays

On April 27th we celebrated Abigail's birthday. She is now 8 years old.

on 5th May we celebrated Beena's Birtthday.

Surgery

I am back home after a spinal surgery that I had to go through because of severe pain in the neck spreading to the left arm due to the bone formation crushing the nerves. Doctor cut off the bone formation, removed a disk and took a piece of bone from the right hip and put plate and screws at C5,C6 of the cervical spine.

I was in the hospital for 17 days and was discharged on 20th March.
I want to thank you all for your prayers and support. Achan, Amminichechy, Achachan, Georachen & Ennammachcy came and visited and stayed and helped us.

100s of people from the Church fasted and prayed and God made the surgery successful.
I have to take rest for 6 weeks till the bone gets fully fused.

Our Visit to Mumbai

We had an opportunity to be in Mumbai for South Asian Leadership Conference. It was a wonderful experience learning from great lessons (they are posted on www.iccblr.org) and fellowship.

We also had an opportunity to meet Kunjumon Achachan & Family (Ramankari). I am meeting him after several years and it is the first time we are meeting his wife and kids. We had a great time together. 

Sad News

We were shocked to hear that Beena's mother's younger brother George who was retired as the Director of Missiles in D.R.D.O met with a car accident and lost his life on Friday 15th Jan. He and his wife Lissy were travelling in their car from Hyderabad to Calicut to attend wedding of his sister's daughter.  It looks like there was a tyre burst and so the vehicle lost control and turned to the right side and hit a tree. Because the impact, steering wheel hit and broke the ribs. Lissy aunty had fractures on hip bone and left arm. She had a surgery on Saturday so she could not attend the funeral.


Beena & me attended the funeral on Saturday and came back by Sunday midnight. Please keep the family in your prayers.
